What is this and how does it work?
Is your YouTube blocked because of an overzealous government, institution, or internet provider? Proxies don't work or work badly, and you just want to view that one funny YouTube video a friend sent you real quick?
We have the solution: you just paste a YouTube URL and the video gets automatically mirrored on our site for a limited period of time. This makes it possible to bypass YouTube blockers and view/download YouTube videos anywhere you want! No tedious proxy searches and slow connections, no shady YouTube downloading tools that install malware... just one click and you're done.
Be aware that mirroring is a resource-consuming process and not yet mirrored videos will start with a short delay.
We are not a video hosting service, so we only keep mirrored videos for a short period of time - between 1 and 7 days.
Also, you are responsible that the videos you mirror do not infringe the copyrights of third parties (same as with YouTube) and our Terms of Service.
The resulting URL to the mirrored video is very simple and uses the same video ID as YouTube. For example,

Simple, isn't it?
You can even use it implicitly - calling http://www.tubemirror.com/video/some_youtube_video_id will automatically check whether the video is already mirrored, and if not, mirror and play it.
